COURSE DESCRIPTION

Participants will learn about different reasons children exhibit challenging behavior. You will participate in sensory activities to increase awareness about different factors effecting behavior as well as looking at three social-emotional screening tools to help with the deeper discovery of the reasons for the child’s behavior. Participants take part in a discussion about Trauma and will leave the class with activities and ideas to help the child cope if trauma is suspected.
