COURSE DESCRIPTION

Participants will learn the difference between adult led and child led play and why both are important to learning. Participants will know how to partner in play and be an active participant. Participants will learn intentional teaching strategies to support and extend play. Developmentally appropriate practice will be discussed. Small groups will review articles related to adult-child interactions. Finally participants will have an opportunity to reflect and goal set.
