COURSE DESCRIPTION

Using the research of Thomas and Chess, we will share, discuss and reflect upon the 9 temperament traits that have been scientifically validated. We will reflect on how these temperaments have been evidenced in children providers have cared for or are caring for currently. Participants will discuss and review how they can use this information to assist in providing better care of children. Participants will also have a chance to reflect upon the compatibility of their own temperament and how it fits with the temperaments of the children for which they care.
